You are special – God’s handiwork!
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
You Are God’s Handiwork
Writers write.
Singers sing.
Builders build.
Creators create.
God, Matchless Creator for all eternity,
dropped the mic with His creation of humanity.
Comparing the night sky and humanity,
King David pondered.
How could humanity compete with a starry night,
resplendent as diamonds set on velvet cushions?
It doesn’t.
Man’s creation stands apart.
Only man is a creation in God’s own image.
Forming man from earth’s dust,
God breathed Himself into man’s nostrils and man came to life. Bestowing blessing from the start,
God’s first words to man were to reign over the earth.
Forever the Creator,
God knits our bodies as marvels of workmanship.
I’ll give you an example.
Look at your hands and consider your fingerprints.
No one before, with, or after you will ever share their design.
You are unique, an original.
Created for divine purpose,
the Most High God designed you with intentionality.
You are God’s good idea.
God calls you His poetry, prized possession, and masterpiece.
Stephanie L. Foster
You are unique in every way – made in God’s image with your own identity

Facing Fear
1 Be merciful to me, my God, for my enemies are in hot pursuit; all day long they press their attack.2 My adversaries pursue me all day long; in their pride many are attacking me. 3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.4 In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid.
