Proclaim the good news

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
Revelation 7:9‭-‬12 ESV

The greatest news for Jesus’ disciples is that there will be people from every nation, tribe, and language, worshiping Jesus forever in the age to come. So we can have great courage in our commission to make disciples because we know it will succeed. To that end we pray, Lord, make us worthy of the calling to disciple all nations so that You will receive worship from all nations.

God, would You help us cherish your word, obey your Son, and steward the good news You’ve entrusted to us. Make us worthy of our calling and teach us to do the work of evangelism. We love You and we want to be faithful with what we’ve been entrusted. In Jesus Name. Amen.
