God Gives Grace
17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

Heavenly Father, today we want to thank You for Your grace. Grace is getting something good we actually do not deserve because we are so sinful. So many times we take Your grace for granted, please forgive us. Open our eyes to see Your grace more clearly in our lives. Lord, I ask that You take the blinkers off of our Spiritual eyes so that we can see all of the gifts You have so graciously given us.
It is by Your grace alone that we are saved from eternal punishment and have the promise that one day we will be with You in heaven for eternity. Thank You for rescuing us from our sin and from the clutches of the evil one. You died for us so that we could have life and life abundantly. Thank You for Your sacrifice.
Thank You for giving us life each new day. When we wake up in the morning, empower us to focus our first thoughts on You. As we lay our heads down to sleep at night, remind us of all that You have given us this day. Show us the gifts You have given us and empower us to say, “Thank You” and give the glory to You.
Thank You for Your amazing grace. Without it, we would be in a hopeless situation. But, because of Your grace, we have so much to be thankful for today…and every day.
