Firstly, Happy Father’s Day. Christian fatherhood is an important part of God’s plan and design the family. Paul writes that there are three important functions that Christian fathers must carry out. What better way to remember Father’s day than in the word of God.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians. 6:1-4
- Christian Father’s Won’t Provoke their Children’s Wrath, they bring their up with nurturing and they teach and discipline their children.
